"What were you expecting?" How many times have we heard this when something does not go our way? It’s difficult not to have expectations, to hope for the best result… to get what we want. Is this so wrong? Of course not, but I think the key is to set realistic expectations. What are we putting into the moment to get the desired results? Have we gathered or shared important information? Are people aware of our goals, and are they engaged in supporting the expected result? We don’t all think alike (thank goodness), so there are multiple takes on any given problem/solution/want/need. Having said all of this, I believe some of the greatest moments can be the unexpected ones, the surprises that take our breath away – these are the kinds of expectations I love!
Now that it is spring, I know your expectations are that Ruby Tuesday will deliver some fabulous spring style options. Lastly, this week is our weekly stack featuring Leah Alexandra’s St Christopher necklace – as the patron saint of travellers, St Christopher will watch over its wearer as they travel the world.
