With summer fast approaching, many of you will have already planned your summer vacations or are in the throws of doing so. For some, a vacation is simply time off work and some good backyard time with friends and family; for others, flights are booked and itineraries carefully planned. Whatever your idea of a summer vacation it will be well-deserved and (hopefully) relaxing. Whistler is THE place for a summer vacation so for those of us that live here there is no need to go away in the summer (although some of us still do). Whistler has it all with a myriad of activities, fantastic dining, and of course great shopping (especially at Ruby Tuesday). The sightseeing is second to none with the gondola rides to the top of the mountain where adventurous ones can go for extensive hikes and others can enjoy the many restaurants and patios. After a day in the mountains, you can stop by any of the many lakes and cool off and take in a little sun – Ahhh….summer!
