This past week I drove across the country – from Grand Lake, New Brunswick, home to Whistler – 5800 km’s (give or take) and 7 provinces. We took 6 days to cover this most diverse country, drank a lot of Tim Hortons coffee, and experienced the differences and similarities of the whole. Each day offered such dramatically different landscapes that I questioned whether we were still in the same country. I was in awe every day, all day. There were things I expected to see, things I could not have imagined, and vistas that took my breath away. It was a journey of discovery that will stay with me for all my days.
Our everyday is a journey, a journey of life through the hours, days, months, and years that make up our lives, so my first highlight is the North Star talisman by Vancouver’s Pyrrha design, which features the bow of a boat pointing toward the North Star.
