READY FOR WHAT’S NEXT?
Fall into a fresh start
As the leaves fall, we notice the altering landscape and are open to the idea of change and new beginnings. It’s the time of year when we “let go” and move forward with reflection of time past, an acknowledgement of where we are, and excitement for where we are going. It is a substantial change that we go through each and every year – a gift from Mother Nature.
It is also the time of year when there is a bucket list of things to do; whether that be putting away outdoor furniture, stacking wood, winterising windows, and, if you have a garden, putting it to “bed”. The effort involved is given back with the satisfaction of a job well done, a gratitude that we give and receive.
This week’s highlights start with the New Beginnings talisman by Vancouver’s Pyrrha Designs. This talisman is symbolic of new beginnings and the making of dreams into reality.
Stack this up with a string of pearls and a paperclip chain, and you have a wonderful stack representing not only your hopes and dreams but also transformation, love, and wisdom.
New this week is our first shipment of winter boots!! Nex Grip are back in stock and ready for you and your upcoming winter. These boots hail from Montreal – a city that understands winter! Not only do they have a built-in ice cleat in the heel, but they are also waterproof and rated to -35°C.
The one for me this winter is the Stella – a great take on the ever-popular Chelsea boot – you cannot go wrong with this one.
A favourite handbag for me in the fall/winter months isn’t a handbag at all but a backpack. When the temperatures drop and you need your hands in your pockets, there is nothing better than a backpack that frees up your arms and hands to stay cozy.
The Dana from Montreal’s Matt & Nat is such a cute backpack, small and sleek but big enough to carry your essentials – and literally goes with everything!
Lastly, this week, I have chosen the Trillion necklace by Sarah Mulder – this beautiful triangle moonstone necklace is said to hold properties of stability, renewal, and balance – a perfect sentiment for Fall.
