A vacation is like a grilled cheese; they are available just about anywhere (you can even stay home and have one), they vary in price, they can be basic or fancy, and they satisfy a hunger. Currently, I am on vacation at my cottage; this would be a sourdough/white cheddar version or perhaps the comfort food variation. A vacation like this for me is not a complete break from work (as I sit here typing away), but it is a significant break, and I have a different view. A vacation can be whatever you want or need, perhaps just a few days or hours where you are not a title, a deadline, or a to-do list, to regroup and satisfy your hunger one bite at a time.
When heading out on vacation, you probably aren’t taking your entire jewellery collection. A few select pieces that go with everything, with perhaps a stand-out pair of earrings, will get you through.
