Summertime and the living is easy… the opening lines of
the 1934 opera Porgy and Bess says it all. With the pandemic in
retreat, the sun is out and the temperatures are hot – life is a lot
easier.
Instead of having to bundle up against the elements to leave your home,
the summer is the time to grab your sandals, pack your sunscreen and your picnic blanket into your backpack and head to the beach.
Another favourite summer pastime of mine is patio dining. With all
the new patios now in place thanks to the pandemic, there are oodles of
choices for an afternoon or evening dining experience. So slip on
your favourite summer dress, a pair of hoops and maybe a cute necklace
by local designer Leah Alexandra and head out!
Whistler is open for business and welcoming all to join in, whether
that be to mountain bike, golf, sightsee, hike, visit the lakes and
parks and of course to shop. Ruby Tuesday is open to welcome
you every Sunday
