I think we all celebrated the news of the return of the
two Michaels this week. What they have endured for the last
1000+ days can only be imagined, as most of us will never know such a
struggle. Through no fault of their own, they became pawns in a
political/legal battle that resulted in separation from all they
knew. Their confinement meant they had no control over their
future or their fate. To return from such an ordeal would certainly
make you think about your life and how you want to live it.
I find the fall a very thoughtful time, time to take stock of where you
are and where you are going. To be grateful for the good in your
life, acknowledge how and where you can do better and celebrate your
achievements. Even though there may be a lot of rain in the near future,
a walk in the woods can help to bring clarity and calm.
For our highlights this week, I have chosen the Dragonfly Talisman by Pyrrha because change happens and you
might as well accept it with joy and levity; the Parish boots because I LOVE them; the Tree of life by Justine Brooks because it is good to
remember you have roots (with your family, friends, community) and the Aromabotanical candles because they
are part of your cozy corner and that is where you go
to think deep thoughts (or just to be cozy).
