Believe it or not but today is National Puppy Day! So
today of all days is the day to go deep into puppy videos (it's hard
not to trip over them on the web). Unless you are violently
allergic to dogs, I can’t think of any reason not to LOVE puppies – so
soft and fuzzy and cute and cuddly. So you may be wondering why
there is a National Puppy Day? Well, with all National Days they
are created to bring awareness to a plight or a concern. Sadly, puppies
are not exempt from this and National Puppy Day is here to bring
awareness to puppy mills and dog shelters. Thousands of dogs
annually are dropped off at shelters and are in need of a good home, so
if you are thinking of getting a dog, visit your local shelter and
consider adopting.
In Whistler, we have WAG (Whistler
Animals Galore) who have been doing a bang-up job since
1982. Even if you are not looking to adopt a pet, there are
volunteer opportunities and donations are always welcome.
Justine Brooks has the most adorable puppy
paw earrings and necklaces! Both
earrings and necklaces are available in silver, gold, and rose
gold. In the NEW category, we have just received our first
shipment of Miz Mooz summer
sandals and shoes! Some fun new designs and colours to be had
(more are on the way). Lastly, we have the ever-so-popular Eris
earring – a show-stopper!
With the warmer Spring temps it's a perfect time to go for a stroll in
the Whistler village! If you do, we hope you'll pop in to say hi and
