A friend of mine recently gave me a card that read “Time is precious, waste it wisely”, and it gave me pause. None of us likes the idea of wasting time, but… we all do it. There is this idea that all time must be productive and anything not productive is wasteful – well, I disagree. I do agree with wasting it wisely, though. An individual’s idea of wasted time is their own, and far be it for one to judge another’s use of time, but for ourselves, it’s a good exercise to examine our time and how we use it. You don’t get time back, there are no do-overs, but from all the time we have already had on this planet, we have experienced lots of uses of time – some time well spent and others not so much. It is through these past experiences that we learn who and what to spend our time on. For example, don’t spend time on people who don’t value your time – it is one of the greatest gifts we have to give. Time has value as it is limited and in high demand – so yes, my friend, waste it wisely. The biggest time constraint we currently have is how many sleeps until Christmas (14!). Still time to shop online if that is more convenient for you, or of course, we would love to see you in store if you are here in Whistler. Some shopping ideas for you include the Direction Talisman by Vancouver’s Pyrrha Designs. This is by far our best-selling talisman and has many versions (silver, silver with gold, gold, bronze, and silver with capri blue). The compass rose on this talisman helps you to find direction and keep you on the path to your heart's true desires. We also have a great selection of snowflake earrings and pendants – help celebrate the season by gifting one of these! And for our weekly stack, we have the Pearl Station necklace with pearls and gold-filled chain by Whistler’s Lazy Maisie, the petit curl dot necklace by Toronto’s Pursuits, the Shimmer necklace by Vancouver’s Leah Alexandra, the light and breezy oval link gold-filled bracelet, and for a complementary earring, may I suggest the Lyn Hoop by Vancouver’s Sarah Mulder. A great stack for the season! Last on the list today is the Lylia tall boot by Nex Grip – these elegant leather boots are waterproof, rated to -35°C, and have a built-in ice cleat in the heel. Feel free to reply to this e-mail with thoughts, opinions, or suggestions – I look forward to your comments. We're open in the Whistler village throughout the holiday season every day from 10 am - 7 pm! If you can't visit us in person, you can still shop all of our new arrivals, jewellery, handbags, footwear, gifts, sales, & more by visiting our website here!
