There is a popular expression that says “expect the
unexpected” and for us here in Whistler, we have had some very
unexpected weather. In the valley, we would not normally see snow
sticking around much after mid-March and this year we have had snowfall
after snowfall. This, of course, bodes well for skiing and
snowboarding, and by all accounts, the conditions have been
amazing! Meanwhile back in the valley, gardens have been inundated
with snow and confusing the heck out of the tulips, crocuses, and
daffodils. The unexpected always requires a bit of patience – the
flowers have been through this before and they will manage just fine
and for the rest of us, we get to enjoy an extended ski season and the
gardening can wait.
For our highlights this week, we have the newly arrived Ayala
Bar spring collection with beautiful new colours and
combinations – a must-see in person! The new spring collection
from Pursuits
is getting great attention and selling very well. And lastly, the Lizzette
boot by Miz Mooz in the black patent leather sold out a
few weeks ago so we are now newly stocked.
We're open this week in the Whistler village on Sunday -
Thursday from 10am - 6pm and on Friday and Saturday from
10am - 7pm. As always, if you can't make it here
in person you can still shop our new arrivals, jewellery, handbags,
footwear, housewares, gifts, sales, and more on our website! |
