The Autumn is the Mardi Gras of seasons. Not a lead up
to Lent, but a last hurrah before the snow falls and extinguishes the
flames of colour.
In Whistler, the trees are in full party mode in shades of orange,
yellow and deep red and the trails are strewn with this colourful
confetti. It is no wonder that the autumn is associated with creativity
when surrounding us each day is the most splendid array of colour.
The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping but
there is an energy and a tremendous sense of awe that seems to lengthen
the day and fill the heart with warmth and artistic wonder. Even if you
do not consider yourself artistic, it is easy to imagine you are.
We are excited to announce that our new winter boots have just
arrived. The NexGrip boots have a built-in
cleat in the heel for much needed traction on the ice as well as an
anti-slip pad under the forefoot. With Thinsulate and a Merino
wool lining these boots are a must have for the coming winter.
