The art of balance

**We do not use Canada Post so orders will not be impacted by a possible strike**

Balance is definitely an art form, but more importantly, it is a life mantra. Balance is present in all aspects of life: mathematics, bike riding, the flavour profile in a dessert, stacking wood, and physics. Without balance, the world would spin off its axis. So why on earth would we run our lives in a state of unbalance? It is not sustainable, and eventually, we will spin off our axis too. Balance to me is recognizing how much is enough because you cannot be everything to everyone all the time. Trying to accomplish too much without the right balance is as wrong as not trying at all. We live in busy, demanding times, so recognize that you can’t do it all because the demands will keep coming. Set up your boundaries, be polite, be generous, but stick to your guns and be firm. To be balanced in your personal life is to be satisfied in all of life.

The Mandala talisman by Vancouver’s Pyrrha Designs speaks to unity, balance, and harmony and is symbolic of our personal journey of self-discovery; a beautiful sentiment for life’s busy times. Next for my highlights, we have the paw necklace by Squamish designer Justine Brooks. These super cute paw pendants come with a chain and are petite enough to wear every day. The Souza wallet is new in from Canada’s Matt & Nat – a slim wallet for on the go or the minimalist. Lastly, we have our Joybees sandals all at 25% off – grab them while they last!
