Can you believe this weather? I keep thinking it’s
July and that summer is half over, but it’s Victoria Day long weekend
coming up not August 1st long weekend. I fully
expect the rains to still come, so for the moment, I am thoroughly
enjoying this blissful taste of summer. Of course, the
unseasonable hot temperatures are not good news
environmentally. Alberta has many out-of-control forest fires
already on the go and it’s only a matter of time before BC follows
suit; So let’s hope for “Junuary” and its cooler temperatures and
buckets of rain.
On a brighter note, Victoria Day long weekend is coming up this
weekend– woo hoo!! I love long weekends! Such a great excuse to
get together with friends and celebrate. Since the weather has been so
wonderful, I am highlighting some of our new summer items. We just
received our summer sandals from Joybees –
the Friday
flat has been a great seller available in Black and
Bone. New sunglasses by Mercury are always fun – the Vivant and
the Lucky
Star are on the Best Sellers list. Pursuits
has added Aqua glass orbs to their “O” Collection – all of the pieces
are spectacular but my favourites are the Cumulus
necklace and the Eris
earring. Lastly, we have put some items on sale,
including our Reed
diffusers. These beautiful diffusers will fill your
room with delicious aromas.
While you're out and about enjoying the sunshine, we hope you'll pop in
for a visit! We're open Sunday - Thursday from 10 am - 7 pm
and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am - 8 pm. Of course, you can
always shop all of our new arrivals, jewellery, handbags,
footwear, blankets, gifts, sales, and more on our website
