Here we are a couple of days after the summer solstice
and it finally feels like summer is here. An abrupt change in
direction for Mother Nature and we will gladly take
it. Temperatures this weekend in Whistler are to reach a
staggering 29 degrees! It will definitely be a weekend of outdoor
activity and ice cream!! The summer solstice is significant as a time
of change and growth, warmth, renewal, and energy - It is no wonder
there are celebrations around the world on this auspicious
day. With the longer, dryer days ahead we can get outside more and
embrace the summer months ahead. Trips to the lake, the mountains,
and restaurant patios await, and of course, a little summer shopping
too...
