This past weekend was a celebration of the very best in
film, Canadian music, and ski racing. To follow up on last week’s
newsletter, Mikeala Shiffrin did in fact win her last two races of the
season and has beaten Ingemar Stenmark’s 40-year record of winning the
most gold medals in the history of World Cup ski racing; an incredible
feat and perhaps a record that will go unbroken for another 40
years. With the Juno Awards AND the Oscars also on the same
weekend, we were surrounded by the best of the best. Not only the winners
are to be celebrated but all of the nominees – to get to this level of
excellence everyone deserves congratulations and recognition. In
fact, I believe everyone deserves to be celebrated – all of us! Every
day we are all tasked with doing our best for ourselves, our
families, our jobs, and for all that we do each and every
day. Recognize yourself as being the winner of the Best of you!
