We live in challenging times and it goes without saying
that a little more love in the world would make it a better
place. If you look up the opposite of Love, you might find Hate
but I actually think it is greed – the need for more at whatever the cost. In
all things, there is an amount that is “enough” which there are no
rules or guidelines around, it is left up to the individual to
decide. I have found that the more content I am and the more love
I feel, the less of everything else I need. Love truly is about
giving without any expectation of reciprocation because in itself when
you give you receive.
Valentine’s Day is a great reminder of the capacity we all have to
Love, so don’t be afraid to show it, in fact flaunt it! Reach
out to the extra special people in your life and express your love for
them – this can be done in words over the phone, in a letter in an
e-mail; you may want to present a gift or an act of kindness – whatever
your choice, it’s yours to give.
