I had a friend visit from the UK last week and
remembered that the last time I saw her was a few weeks before the
Covid shut down. Her wedding was to be in July of that year in France
and for obvious reasons, it was canceled. This year it is back on
and friends from around the globe will be there. With borders
opened and restrictions lifted we are once again free to fly, travel,
and experience far-reaching places.
We are in a time of renewal, reconnection, and maybe
reinvention. A time where we are breaking out of our covid
chrysalis and our new form is emerging. We have all been through a
lot these past 2 years and it has reshaped us. Embrace the new you
and embrace the new world we now find ourselves in. Reconnect with old
friends and make some new ones.
I have had more than a few social engagements in the last few weeks
(even went to a house party) and have now booked a flight to
France. I have many emotions coursing through my veins –
excitement, joy, enthusiasm, and incredible gratitude to everyone who
did their bit to bring this pandemic to an end.
For our highlights this week I have chosen some items new to the store:
the Spring Collection of the Miz Mooz
shoes are in (heels as well as flats) and the new
Collection from Pursuits whose
edgy designs will elevate any outfit. We have a whole series of Paperclip
designs, with earrings, chains, and bracelets with gold
as well as silver options. And lastly, the butterfly
earrings (in silver and gold) to symbolize our
transformation.
If you're in Whistler this week, stop in for a visit Sunday -
Thursday from 10am - 6pm and on Friday and Saturday from
