How do you suppose Santa decides who is naughty and who
is nice? I mean what is naughty? What is nice? Can you be a little
bit naughty and still be nice? Or can you be nice in a naughty way? To
be all of one and none of the other seems a bit restrictive. I
think instead of naughty and nice a better scale would be a
good-intentioned, fun-loving person who makes the occasional mistake vs
the morally bankrupt. I am hoping this puts most of us on the
“Nice” list and makes Santa's job easier. Now of course Santa is a busy
guy and since his focus is on the kids most of us don’t get gifts from
Santa anymore, but gifts are still a big deal. A lot of workplaces
organize a Secret Santa gift exchange and many families will draw names
for a gift for one person. However you get a gift this year, I
hope it is a good one - but as much as getting gifts is great I find
the best gift is the one you give.
Speaking of gifts… Ruby Tuesday is a great place to get gifts for the
ladies on your list. There are still a few shopping days left
before the big day so don’t lose hope if you have not completed your
