2024 May 16th

This weekend is our annual Victoria Day or May 24th long
weekend celebrating Queen Victoria, whose life spanned
from 24 May 1819 to 22 January 1901. It’s likely that not
many people think of Queen Victoria during this weekend or the lead-up
to it and instead are thinking “Woohoo – long weekend!!”. Whatever
your plans are, know that the rest of Canada is making plans as
well. The amazing thing about long weekends is that they bring the
country together in a unique way, perhaps because of something
political, historical, or religious but mostly because of something
social. They gather the community, give everyone a much-needed
break from the day-to-day, and help hit the reset button. It’s
something to look forward to, plan, experience (hopefully with joy) and
remember fondly.
For this May two-four long weekend if you find yourself in Whistler,
pop into Ruby Tuesday for some summer-ready shopping!! We have new
summer shoes including our collection from Joybees –
the biggest hit is the Friday
flat! And with new sandals, you’ll need a new anklet (available
in silver and gold). Also, we are all obsessed with the new Jean
jackets just in for spring – white, pink, denim,
and black – only $89.95. And lastly, we have the Tree of
Life talisman which reminds us of our journey
of continuous growth and the interconnectedness of life.
Don't forget to check out our Sale
