The May Long Weekend has traditionally been the weekend
that kicks off summer – for this year let’s hope this is
true. This May has been unseasonably cold and rainy and we could
all use a bit of reprieve. The forecast is looking promising with some sun
and warm(ish) temperatures. It may not be bikini weather but we
will take what we can get. On a positive note, with the wet
weather there is no threat of forest fires and to be honest, I would
take the wet over forest fires and smoke any day. This long weekend
also marks the last weekend for skiing/snowboarding at Blackcomb
(Whistler closed a few weeks ago). There is lots of snow up there so
grab your planks and take a last ride and enjoy a last
aprés. Also, to mark the change in seasons is the prevalence of bears. They
have all come out of their slumber and are slowly figuring out what
their summer looks like. If you do see a bear, please keep a
respectful distance especially if you see a Momma and her cubs.
For our highlights this week I have chosen the BC Bear
necklace (which comes in Gold, Rose gold and Rhodium)
and the stylish and dynamic Axle
earring from Pursuits. Our Chacal
sneakers offer comfort, style, and pizzaz in fun spring
colours and lastly, the Matt & Nat Sam
crossbody bag is the ultimate go-to bag for summer.
We hope to see you this long weekend! You can find us us in the
Whistler village on Sunday -
Thursday from 10am - 6pm and on Friday and Saturday from
10am - 7pm if you're able to make it here
in-person. Otherwise, you can shop all of our new
arrivals, jewellery, handbags, footwear, housewares, gifts, sales, and
more on our website! |
