We all know the expression the “lazy days of summer” but
is that actually a thing? I mean yes, when you go to the beach and hang
out, that may be considered lazy but really, I find the summer
incredibly busy. There is so much I want to do while the sun is out
and the weather is warm. The longer days also mean you can pack
more into your waking hours. If you are a homeowner, the summer is when
you get your home projects done, get your garden looking its best, and
organize and clean your outdoor space for your BBQ evenings with
friends. If you are into mountain biking and hiking you are far from
being lazy. Organizing a family summer vacation takes planning and
organization – definitely NOT lazy. I guess the idea of having
time to be lazy is what we are after, but ultimately, if we have extra
time we find something fun to do with it.
If you are planning a “lazy” day in Whistler, why not pop by Ruby
Tuesday and get busy with some summer shopping. Some of our most
popular items for this summer have been the Pismo
sneakers from Vionic (arguably the most comfortable
footwear ever!) the pinecone
earrings by Justine Brooks and anything made with a paperclip
chain (necklaces, bracelets, and
earrings). And to celebrate the Free Spirit in all of us, we have
the Free
Spirit Necklace by Treeline Collective.
Visit us in the Whistler village on Sunday -
Thursday from 10am - 7pm and on Friday and Saturday from
10am - 8pm. And if you can't make it here
in person, you can still shop all of our new arrivals, jewellery,
handbags, footwear, housewares, gifts, sales, and more on our website! |
