Well, here we are again at the beginning of a new year – we made it! Now what to do with this incredible opportunity? I find it’s a great idea to reflect on the year past to see where things went well, what brought you happiness, where your successes were, and where improvements could be made. Do you need to make some changes? Well, now is the time! I have to admit, I am not a super structured person, so I’m not about to suggest a schedule of events with clear goals and priorities and regular check-ins (yuck!), but I am going to suggest flexibility. What I mean by this is changing up some of the things we do by habit that perhaps don’t feel good. An example could be making resolutions you know you cannot fulfill. Set yourself up for success this year, bring more joy to your life, and minimize stress.
For my New Year highlights, I have chosen the Life collection by Squamish jewellery line Treeline Collective; with every passing year, every memory—happy or sad—a new ring grows around our soul.
