The word Lunacy comes from the widely held belief that
people go a little nuts when there is a full moon. Hospitals and
police claim there are more accidents and psychiatric admissions and
some communities have gone as far as to employ more police during full
moons. July 13th (last night) marked our full moon for this
month and I’d like to think that most of us didn’t go nuts, but perhaps
you stayed up to see the monthly spectacle. A full moon really is one
of the awe-inspiring natural wonders of the world and although it may
make people and little crazy, I say get out and bask in the Lunar glow
(just beware of the werewolves and vampires).
For this week's highlights I have chosen all things moon – crescent
moon stud earrings in silver, gold, and rose gold,
the Luna necklace by
Leah Alexandra, and the Axle
earrings by Pursuits (not really moons but kinda
cool). Lastly, I have chosen the Pismo
sneakers by Vionic which have nothing to do with
moons except that if you were to walk on the moon you would want some
comfortable footwear!
