Tuesday was Remembrance Day; a day to remember the battles fought for our freedom, to remember the men and women who gave their lives in those battles, and to remember why. In our democracy, we believe in freedom – freedom to live where and how we want, freedom to love how and who we want, and the freedom to choose what is best for us. We are in interesting times, with far-right groups who claim to want freedom but create tyranny instead. We already live in the freest part of the world, and this is due in no small part to those men and women who fought and died in the epic wars of the last century. We are remembering these individuals who laid down their lives because they believed in freedom, not just of the individual but of country and kin. We need to remember this and come together as one and continue to stand up for what is right, just, and fair.
My highlights this week start with a new collection from Leah Alexandra the Panther bold! The necklace and
bracelet are available in sterling silver and pack a punch. Great layering pieces and stunning on their own. Also from Leah Alexandra is the square love token necklace, now available in silver and gold. Based on Rosemonde Gerard’s 19th-century French poem, the Love Token Necklace is stamped with the French sentiment "qu'hier – que demain". It is a symbol of growing love, which translates from the poem’s French verse meaning “I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow."
