Most of the people I know that live in Whistler are here
by choice, they were not born and raised here, they moved here from
other parts of Canada and the world. As for me, I came for a 10-day ski
holiday and ended up staying – that was 33 years ago. People come to
Whistler for great skiing, biking, golf, incredible vistas, lakes and
trails, bars and nightclubs and so much more. But Whistler is much more
than the sum of its parts. There is a vibe here! It emanates from
not just the physical but from the human element as well. All of us
that live here WANT to be here. I like to think that visitors can feel
this sense of commitment and contentment that we feel which results in
feeling welcome. We are thrilled that the usual Whistler summer
Events are back on this summer plus a few new ones. From the Spring
Culinary Series to a multitude of biking and running events as well as
the weekly Farmers Market and Canada Day celebrations we have much to
look forward to. For all our upcoming events visit www.whistler.com/events
For our highlights this week I have chosen the very popular Orb on
the Threads earrings by Pursuits
– simple and oh so stylish! For all you bike enthusiasts, the Freerider
earrings and pendant are always a hit, as well as the co-ordinates
necklace by Lazy
Maisie Creates (available in silver and gold). Our
footwear collection has grown and now includes more evening out
choices, my favourites are the Saga
heeled sandal
by Miz Mooz
available in Marine
and Rose.
If you're in Whistler, we hope you'll stop in for a visit! This week
