For those of us in Whistler, we have been given the
greatest gift of all – a big dump of snow! Thank you Mother
Nature!! And looking at the forecast for the rest of the week, we are
in for more. It is certainly shaping up to be a white Christmas.
Gift-giving at Christmas has been a tradition since 3 wise men showed
up at a certain manger offering gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
These gifts may seem strange to us today (especially for a baby) but
they were useful and important gifts at the time. Today the tradition
continues with gifts of winter boots, handbags and jewellery (very useful and very
important!). Christmas is now only 16 days away, so if you have not
done so already, get yourself in gear and make a plan.
Gift-giving does not need to be a wrapped gift under the tree, it can
be a donation to a worthy cause. You need not look far to find a
cause that resonates with you and is in need of financial
support.
If, however, you are looking for a gift for that favourite girl, look
no further than Ruby Tuesday. We have jewellery for all budgets,
footwear for all seasons, and handbags for all occasions. Drop in to
shop from 10
am - 6 pm Sunday to Thursday and 10 am - 7 pm Friday and
Saturday. For anyone who can't make it to Whistler or
would just prefer to shop from the comfort of their home, you can still
shop from our full selection of gifts, jewellery, handbags, footwear,
housewares, and more on our website here... |
