This past week the weather here in Whistler has made a
dramatic turn – a bit of rain and MUCH cooler temperatures. Fall
is coming at us quickly and so summer is coming (or has come) to a
close. With a new season at our doorstep, it begs the question,
what next? Perhaps you are just back from summer vacay and are now
hunkering down getting kids back to school and you're getting caught up
with work, or perhaps the fall is the time you take a hard-earned
vacation. For many of us here in Whistler, after a busy summer, we
take advantage of the shoulder season and head off to adventures around
the globe. With Pandemic restrictions in the past, any destination
is ours for traveling. For my partner and I, a rock-climbing trip
to Spain is in the cards. We have planned for a November getaway
so we can take advantage of the beauty of the Whistler area for the
next 2 months. Fall hiking/walking is incredible this time of year
with fewer crowds and autumn colours. I highly recommend a visit
if you are not already here.
For our highlights this week, I have chosen the dog paw
necklace by Justine Brooks – Fall walks with dogs
are the best, so for all you dog lovers here is a talisman for
you. And for those walks this fall, a good pair of sneakers are in

a new design collection for us and is selling very well

summer sandals on sale – so come and get them while
they last.
