So far the south coast of B.C. has had a
record-breaking month for precipitation with over 300% more
than what is usually recorded by this time in November. Our hearts
go out to all those whose properties are flooded and anyone who may
still be stranded by the latest catastrophic weather event. Try to
avoid non-essential travel while the major routes get repaired and if
you do have to hit the road be sure to take an emergency pack along
with you. Blankets, food, water, batteries, a flashlight, and a good
book can go a long way if you run into a road closure.
While you're hunkering down in this cold, wet weather, consider
creating a Cozy Corner in your home to warm your
mind, body, and heart. We have all of the essentials for
you to create the ultimate space of comfort including scented Aromabotanical candles, soft and fuzzy
blankets, and adorable throw pillows. Trust us when we say,
you won't regret it!
Be sure to keep your feet cozy too as the
temperatures drop by wearing a pair of Nex Grip Winter Boots! These
popular Canadian boots have been selling quickly so if you've been
eyeing a particular style or colour, be sure to come in or order
online before they're gone. The Snow Tall Boots are a
particular favourite as they come in three different colours and
are tall enough to keep your feet completely dry when
trudging through deep snow. We even have a Men's style now in stock that also
comes with the signature retractable cleat system and non-slip rubber
pads that make these boots so great for walking on slippery surfaces
throughout the winter season.
