Here we are in 2024, decades after the end of the second world war, when all agreed that it would be the last one.
November 11th marks Remembrance Day where we remember those who died and for all of those who have served in the military, so we can have our freedom. It is a significant day and its observation is important, not just as a reminder but also as an educational tool. It is important that we all understand what is at stake in a world war and do everything in our power to prevent one. On November 11th take a moment at 11:11am and reflect on what we have today and commit to a life of peace.
For my highlights this week I have chosen some items that are worthy of trying times, that might bring you peace and serenity. The Grounding Talisman by Pyrrha reminds us to remain centered calm and balanced despite what might be going on around us. The Trillion necklace by Sarah Mulder was designed to represent protection & renewal, and is a symbol to inspire its wearer to transform during challenging times. Also by Sarah Mulder is the Ariam hoop earring and although it does not come with any particular meaning, it brings joy to my heart. Lastly, I have the Clara short winter boot by Nex Grip – water proof, rated to -35c and slip proof with the built in ice cleat in the heel = happiness for your feet.
