As Christmas has now come to a close, we look towards a
New Year. It’s a great time to take stock of this past year and
see where your successes were and where perhaps, you could use some
changes. For your successes, it is important to celebrate them, be
proud of the year you had, and use these as building blocks for the
year to come – keep the momentum going! Sometimes we need small
tweaks and sometimes we need a complete overhaul. Whatever you
need for this coming year make it achievable. If it is a complete
overhaul, it may take more than 12 months to achieve but you can start
small and work towards the ultimate goal –
and always celebrate the small steps and minor achievements
because change is not always easy. Make this the year of YOU!
I have a few items I would like to highlight that may embolden you to
make some changes. The Free
Spirit necklace by Treeline
Collective inspires you to keep wondering, to keep
searching, and to keep exploring. This necklace reminds you that each
day is a new beginning and each moment is to be celebrated. Marmalade
offers a wonderful collection of charms and words that can help you map
out your year. You can wear your personally built necklace or
bracelet as a talisman to keep you on track for your year of
success. And of course, Pyrrha
has a very poignant talisman – the Knowledge
Talisman reads 'La Fin Depend Du Commencement' in
French, which means 'The End Depends on the Beginning'. It is a
reminder that the outcome of a goal often depends upon the energy and
commitment with which it was started. Last on my choices for highlights
are the Ruby
winter boots. These are not about change but about
keeping your feet dry and warm. All the NexGrip
boots come equipped with a bult in ice cleat in the heel to keep you on
your feet, they are all waterproof and are rated to -35°C.
