Today we are celebrating leap day – a truly unique day
that only happens every 4 years. In order to keep the calendar in
sync with the seasons it is necessary every 4 years to add an extra day
to the shortest month – February! So here we are with an extra
day… hmmmm… what do you do with an extra day? Sadly, in this day
and age it is just absorbed into our regular lives when it should be an
extra day – a day to do whatever you want. How about a unique day… like
a costume day or a backwards day or a day you speak in Pig Latin and
wear a tutu? I say go for it! Treat your extra unique day as you
see fit!
It only seems fitting that my highlights cover some of our unique items
in the store. Pursuits is
our most unique design group – their innovation and design are second
to none. This week I have chosen the Harp
earrings and the Aria
necklace - both of them come in grey glass, aqua
glass, and Amber glass. Next, we have the Mimi and Marge Antler
collection – maybe it’s just me but I think THAT is
unique. We also have the Octopus
talisman by Pyrrha which is for unique individuals
who have the ability to achieve their goals by using creative and
unorthodox methods. Lastly, we have the new collection by Ayala
Bar – stunning and unique as usual!
The snow has finally returned to Whistler this week so there's plenty
of winter fun to be had whether it's skiing and snowboarding, tubing,
snowmobiling, or just venturing out for a walk in the beautiful snowy
forest. If you're here enjoying the snow, we hope you'll stop in for a
visit! We're open in the Whistler village every day from 10 am - 7
