Fiddlehead Fern pendant
The fern has an ancient history and grows in abundance on the west coast of Canada. The jade fern is recognized as the unofficial symbol of New Zealand.
It is also believed that ferns can bring rain, protection, luck, prosperity, eternal youth, health, and confidence.
Many think of the fiddlehead/ fern as symbol of regrowth, birth, transformation, and renewal.
Justine’s neighbourhood backs onto Garabaldi Park which is mecca of ferns and fiddleheads. On daily hikes & walks one could not help but be inspired by the lush green plant which rejuvenates each year.
The pendant is hand carved with wax and it is double sided to feature both the fern and fiddlehead. The piece is available for purchase on a fine curb chain (18 inches)
